Plot Summary: Lighthouse To Go presents the story of one small community's valiant efforts to address the threat of erosion and preserve their lighthouse as well as what is signifies to their tiny Rhode Island village. Under the watchful eye of Dr. Jerry Abbott, the Block Island Southeast Lighthouse Foundation has devised a bold scheme to rescue the lighthouse. The foundation has decided to move the lighthouse - four million pounds of brick and granite - to a safer location. National Geographic invites viewers to share in the victory of a tiny Rhode Island village when it presents Lighthouse To Go.
